The School of Engineering offers engineering students the opportunity to begin pursuing a master's degree while completing their bachelor's degree requirements.
The program in civil and environmental engineering enables top Rutgers undergraduate engineering students to be accepted into our graduate program in an expedited way. In some cases, it gives students the possibility to receive an MS degree in a shortened time frame.
It is strongly recommended students use the James J. Scholars program. This highly intensive academic program gives students more research experience and better prepares them for research and development careers or further graduate study.
Students are eligible to apply for admission in their junior year.
