The Rutgers-New Brunswick campus offers students many opportunities to become involved in activities outside of the classroom. There are numerous university-wide student clubs and organizations in which students can participate. There are also school-based opportunities like the Engineering Governing Council, Society of Women Engineers, Engineers Without Borders, and Tau Beta Pi, the school's honors and service organization. Students can also participate in student chapters of professional societies.
The following student organizations are sanctioned by the Engineering Governing Council (EGC) and are just some of the many groups available to students. A complete list is available on the Student Involvement website.
